SourceSTAR is the new name for Sekhem, believed to be derived from the healing arts practiced in the temples of ancient Egypt.In September 2007 Helen Belot resigned from the Sekhem association and took her trade marked name Sekhem and our right to use the name.She did this but can not take away our right to use the energy as this comes from Source.As there are a lot of Masters in Scotland it was deceided to have a meeting and choose a new name and put into place a timetable of when a new association would come into place. So on the 11th November 11 Masters with 11 apologies met and chose a new name for the energy and this is when SourceSTAR came into being.STAR meaning Sekhem Transformed And Reborn.It was decieded that the teaching manuals would be rewritten and the setting up of a new association would be looked into.It was also noticed by a few of the Masters that the energy had changed.It seemed that the vibration of the energy had increased as if it had broken free and not been restricted by fear and ego. 

  To start a session the practitioner asks the client if they have something to share,an intention for the healing.It is entirely up to the client if they want to share.The practitioner then starts the session off .The client may feel energy whizzing about or they may feel peace and calm or nothing at all.Whatever you feel just go with it.We always start at your feet  and work our way up the body.It is 90% hands off but we do hold hands,arms and head.A session normally lasts an hour but can be less or longer just depending what the client needs.Everything is always done for the clients Highest Good or Something Better.It is very hard to describe SourceSTAR so I would always say you are best to experience it and be AMAZED.

  On Thursday 19th June 2008 the SourceSTAR association came into being.The chairman is Gordon Soutar,Secretary is Sheila Caldwell and the treasurer is Steve McMahon.

 The SourceSTAR meeting on the 14thSeptember was well attended and we welcomed some new members.Our next meeting has yet to be decided  but please watch this space.
